Pat Condell: "Freedom is my religion"

Religion is not the same as spirituality. Religion is often used as a system to control human beings. Christianity is as guilty as Islam, but Islam uses religion not only to control, but to denigrate by taking away the freedom of choice: obedience to a principle means nothing if human beings aren't allowed free will.

Although Condell states that he does not worship freedom, he does understand the principle of the morality of choice: blind obedience is slavery and thinking humans must be given the opportunity to make good choices ... or not, one of the reasons why Condell and I reject Islam.

You would think that atheists would understand that!
