Generally national leaders tend to be gifted with high IQs, but that doesn't mean they the experience and common sense to know how to govern. In fact, professional politicians are often highly educated individuals that have spent years working a problem, a thesis, that required aggressive defense in the highly competitive world of ideas. Sometimes they are practical, but often the masses suffer as politicians work to promote their own brainchild as the solution for the world's problems.

Fitzgerald: Hugh sounds off against Foggy Bottom and Homeland Insecurity

Hugh Fizgerald at Jihad Watch takes exception to the new State Department and Homeland Security memos that caution employees against using Islamic references whenever condemning terrorist attacks:

Note that Jamie Tarabay does not report; he editorializes. He tells listeners to NPR that DHS has advised its employees "to avoid those same mistakes." Those "mistakes." What "mistakes"? Oh, the "mistakes" of "using Islamic refernces whenever condemning terrorist attacks.

Bible Under Fiire in Hong Kong for Sexual, Violent Conent

Hundreds of residents have flooded Hong Kong’s media decency watchdog group with complaints against the Bible for its sexual and violent contents.

Protestors call on authorities to reclassify the Bible as “indecent,” which would make it illegal for minors under 18 years of age to purchase and would cause the Bible to be wrapped with a statutory warning notice.

As of noon on Wednesday, Hong Kong’s Television and Entertainment Licensing Authority (TELA) said it had received 838 complaints about the Bible, according to Reuters.

Another Nail in the Coffin of U.S. Sovereignty

Imagine what the world would be like if U.S. citizens were to be under the thumb of the U.N. where the U.S. would have only vote. Perhaps the clout of upper echelons of society would sufficient for them to escape the stifling bureaucy that already has buried the common man in the E.U. The U.N. has already proved to be incompetent at best and, at its venal worst with the "Food for Oil Scandal," completely corrupt. Why, then is President Bush moving the United States toward this fate by putting pressure on the Senate to revive the U.N. Law of the Sea Treaty that would put 70% of the earth under U.N. jurisdiction?

Manipulating the American Mind on Iraq

The "honest" media apparently is not presenting the facts on Iraq in context. This is according to Gerd Schroeder at American Thinker who has examined the ongoing Brookings Instution Report titled "IRAQ INDEX Tracking Reconstruction and Security in Post-Saddam Iraq which, updated weekly, provides U.S. Military and other U.S. governmental agencies' official statistics. He contends that "neglect of context creates a misleading public impression."

From where does this calculated program disinformation arise? Not fromis not from present embedded journalists themselves.

Don't you hate being manipulated and lied to by "honest" media outlets and politicians?

Here's another take on al Quaeda: Al Qaeda is a parasite that feeds on a host until the host drives it out.

That's fine, but what happens in the parasite so weakens the host that it overtakes and changes the body so that there is no going back?

The irony in this case is that both parasite and host are Islamic systems, but the parasite is the original strain of Islam that threatens to spread to other organisms, i.e., the non-Muslim world.

The "honest" media also fails to inform on this point.

Will this be the last year that American public school children be able to take traditional religious school holidays? As members of more diverse religions demand that their own holidays be observed, some school districts have decided to eliminate them all. Will other school districts follow, and which other traditional holidays will be axed?

April 9, 2007 — - On Friday, students in Florida's Hillsborough County School District had the day off from school for Good Friday, no matter what religious faith they practiced.

It's the last time they will have Good Friday off as a districtwide day off from school.

As part of the ongoing struggle in schools across the country on how to respect holy days of all religions, the Hillsborough school district, which encompasses the city of Tampa, came up with its own solution.

It has eliminated all religious holidays starting with the 2007-2008 school year.

Like school districts in so many parts of the country, Hillsborough County has tried to accommodate its diverse student body.

"We, like many districts, have had Christian holidays for years and years," said Steve Hegarty, a communications officer for Hillsborough County. Yom Kippur, the holiest day on the Jewish calendar, was added a few years ago, he says.

Some thoughts on Imus and Sharpton

I have never cared for either man. The Reverend, a black man, Al Sharpton is pointing fingers at the comedian, Imus, a white man, and deep down they are both the same.

Over the years I have heard Imus say some racist and some downright raunchy material on his show, and then he does good things for people with his foundation and ranch to help children.

He shouldn't have said what he did. And, I might add, black entertainers and others in the black community shouldn't use that language, but they do and Sharpton and his ilk aren't attempting to ruin their lives. It's hypocrisy on his part to go after one, but not the other, and he won't let racial wounds heal. Why doesn't he go after them, to clean up the pottie-mouths in the black community?

Sharpton has chosen a prominent white figure because he's an easier target who is not likely to turn on him and cause bodily harm to him or his family. Thus, we could say that his attack against Imus and his failure to go against the homeboys that throw around the same language, in the streets,...and on the airwaves, to be cowardly as well as hypocritical.

And I have heard the Reverend Al Sharpton say some racist and low down material about whites and others, and he even was involved in the Tawana Brawley case in which a black teen claimed to be raped by six white men, some police officers. There were no idictments and the grand jury investigation concluded that the charges should be dropped as there was no evidence.

Al Sharpton's behavior during that and many other events show that he is a Race Monger who takes an event and whips into a conflagration as he is attempting to do with Imus and has he done

A cruel and mendacious racist with skeletons's in his closetwho calls himself a man of God? How can that be? How could one use Sharpton and religious in the same sentence in any serious manner: he is demagogue who uses religion as a tool to spread a political agenda.

Many people make mistakes, apologize, change their ways and move on. I might listen Imus one day, if he's not driver off the air. But I will never listen to Al Sharpton. He continues to trip over the rock of his own pride, to believe that he is right in all things, and fling his hypocrisy out there in the same way as did the race mongers of old. He's nothing more than a black KKK-style grand wizard, a hypocrite.

The Ultmate Goal of the Jihad

The Islamic Jihad against the West has as many reasons and it has goals and objectives for continuing the jihad, no matter the consquences as the means justify the ends. It seems obvious that many millions will die before its over as majority of the targeted populations will simply refuse to acquiese. No matter, Islam and the Jihad have been through this process before: so go easy and some go hard, and the hard ones end up being object lessons for their enemies to show what happens to "foolish" populations that dare resist: they die a brutal and painful death. Those that do capitulate far little better because they enter into a state of slavery or into a state of dhimmituide that envelopes every aspect of their lives.

The terms of their subjugation shows how uttler low they have become as they are allowed to live in fear and humiliation, constantly reminded of how subdued they are and must remain in order to preserve their lives and to keep their children out of slavery.

Of Celebrities, Citizens and Traitors

Gee, I thought they became citizens of the United States because you love America. Sorry, my cynicism, frustration and disbelief come through when reading about those that come to the United States to exploit possibilities "for a better life," especially when the attitude of exploitation continues even though the "new citizen" has taken the Oath of Citizenship, vowing to give up allegiance to the previous homeland, and they don't. They are caught in lies, yet no one calls them on their duplicity.

What are some the reasons why a migrant, usually poverty stricken, comes to the United States? The number one reason is economic. However there is a new motive that is influencing wealthier, talented, and highly skilled migrants: to help members of their own ethnic group and, incredibly, the reason for which they become citizens.
