Today is the 3rd of July here in America (CONUS). In Iraq and Afghanistan and most of the Pacific Ocean region, it is the 4th of July. We are not being the first, but we are adding our grateful thanks to you in uniform and in military support who make the meaning of July 4th enduring. We served ourselves in the Navy 25 years, and we hold you in the highest esteem. Along with Happy Birthday to our grand country go our unending thanks to you for keeping the lamp of freedom lit.
This Independence Day, may we remember our military who sacrifice so much for love of country.

AOW,
The bad guys get the best press, but the good guys get the bad press. As long as we see young men and women signing up in our all volunteer military, knowing they are getting not the best pay or working conditions, knowing that the loudest mouths decry them, and knowing that they are electing to go in harm's way, then our beloved country has more than "a chance." Nobody in his right mind expects them to be perfect, but, that they are there at all and that they are the way they are, oh, America, are we blessed!

The left's hatred of our military is especially repugnant since without these brave men and women, there would be no America for them to spew their vile hatred of the military and America. God bless our troops. They are in my thoughts everyday.
