Why Are We Letting Islam Exist?

Yes, that title question is meant to be provocative.  Yes, there is doubtless no way that we can stop Islam from existing.  However, and yes, there are rational ways to isolate Islam, essentially neutralizing it, somewhat similar to the "wisdom" of the body in isolating foreign bodies.

Rational men and women should not be bothered with something as irrational as Islam.  They should sequester it and do whatever is needed to render it harmless to themselves and their values.  Then, they should inflict the worst possible punishment on Islam and all its adherents:  They should ignore Islam 100% and require Islamists have only themselves all the time.

For example, were Islam and its followers confined to the Middle East and the scattering of other lands claiming to be Islamic, the Islamists could be Islamists with each other as much as they wanted.  Rational people would not acknowledge them, support them, or allow them to visit or immigrate to their homelands.  Their only interaction with Islamists would be annihilating those who insisted on doing harm to us in our homeland. 

Any Islamists already in those homelands, not protected by bodies of law such as our Constitution, would be expelled to Greater Islamia.  Those preaching Islamic inspired and based sedition and treason, and those Islamists directly crossing the barrier between religion and state (politics), would be severely punished.  Those unwilling to change their behavior would have their citizenship revoked and be expelled to Greater Islamia.  Intense monitoring of Islamic activity within the homeland would detect and correct the slightest incursion of Islamism into politics, with swift justice ensuing.

Of course, there are many other steps to complete the walling off of Islam, or, better said, the "walling in" of Islam into itself.  These few principles and actions make the point.  Once the walling process is in place, Islamists inside America would be able to practice their cult but without so much as a whiffle of toxicity so characteristic of Islam.

Outside America, Islamists would have themselves to turn to for everything.  What would their lands be like if they had to depend on themselves alone?  Well, we do not have to look far to know the answer to this exactly.

Let me start with a snapshot from today. 

My wife and I were driving to a morning appointment and listening to the top of the hour radio news.  100% of that news broadcast dealt with Gaza and Lebanon.  In Gaza, rabid Islamists were annihilating each other in a state of civil war.  In Lebanon, rabid Islamists were trying to destroy anything and anyone of value in Lebanon. 

Memory quickly added to the Gazan and Lebanon situations the chronic skulduggery of Iran and Syria.  Memory threw in nuclear Pakistan coming apart and approaching civil war of Islamist versus Islamist.  Then came the recall of the truly bizarre fatwa from Egypt, allowing women to be co-workers with men in the work place, provided the men breast feed from the women five times a day.  After that, memory kicked out loads of stuff like the bellowings of this and that Islamic religious official from Australia to any and all other places having more than one Islamist present, and the total absurdity of entities like Saudi Arabia, Jordan, etc.

My wife and I simultaneously raised the same thought after that radio news broadcast:  What a peaceful world we would have if there was no Islam.  That "peace" included contending with Russia, China, North Korea, and the bloated buffoon Chavez.

Mind you, it is Islam we are naming, not any race, or sex, or national origin of anyone.  As long as they are Islamist, they qualify for the pleasant thought of their not existing. Arabs would still be Arabs as would Nigerians be Nigerians and Phillipinos be Phillipinos, etc.  Those are ethnic and cultural concerns which are not part of this discussion. 

We are thinking that anyone being an Islamist is the problem.  It is Islam that takes potentially nice and valuable people and turns them into raving lunatic monsters who live to kill and live to die.

Look about the world, as many fine anti-Islamist people continue to point out.  Where there is smoke and fire, the odds are you will find Islamists.  Put in the converse, wherever there are Islamists, there is bellicosity and its attendant misery for all.  Only people committed to avoiding the truth would have any trouble drawing the obvious conclusion.

Think of the deliciousness of it all if Islamists had to put up with themselves and themselves alone.  There could be no more deserving souls.  Talk about just desserts!  An entire billion plus people in the mental state of the movie Deliverance, all barefoot and pregnant all the time.  They would have to buy anything they needed to survive, much less thrive, since they are incapable of production and creativity, to the extent they are orthodox Islamists.  Just recall what they did to the greenhouses gifted them by foolish American Jews in Gaza--within 24 hours, the greenhouses were totally destroyed and looted.

Islamists truly deserve each other, and we should become rational, so that we can see to it that they get each other, just as they deserve.

What do you think about the construction of mosques in big European and American cities. Is it a right to build a mosque if there is a private owned estate?

Under present laws, building mosques on private property are fully protected. Do I like even so much as one more mosque built anywhere in the world? No, I do not. However, private property rights prevail.

This is NOT true..if it effects and bleeds into the rights of the public - and away from the private property.

AN example is the 5 calls to prayer- 7 days a week - STARTING AT 3:35 A.M. - going into late at night.

This infringes on the rights of others.

And a good lawyer - bevy of lawyers can use that and other examples from islam to stop a mosque being built.

i could not agree more. the religion of islam is not a religion it is form of social government that is to be advanced in anyway jihadists see fit. ship the bastards off. islam itself is a terrorist organization. reading the quaran proves that. i for one refuse to be intimadated and will freely speak my mind and do with every oppurtunity. also i would be more than willing to bear arms to defend my rights. in short take your islam the hell out of the usa. we should amend the constitution just for these fanatics and ban islam in all democratic states through out the world.

The central problem is that Christians do not see this from the radicalized Muslim perspective and radicalized Muslims do not see it from the Christian perspective (contrary to your assertion and the assertions of radicalized Muslims, most Muslims are not radicalized).

According to the radicalized Muslim perspective, Islam came AFTER Christianity and is somewhat of a reaction to it in that Muslims view Christians as attempting to convert them. As such, they view their duty as being one to resist. Since Christians are viewed as following a corrupted religion (not false, but corrupted, according to Islamic doctrine), the first reaction of radicalized Muslims was to try to "save" the Christians from themselves (not all that different from the missionary perspective of Christians). However, failing in that attempt, radicalized Muslims go one step further: they then attempt to kill those who will not convert (actually, not all that different from the perspective of those who would seek to have Muslims eliminated in reaction to radicalized Islamic terrorism). Since corruption of the religion must have come from evil forces, it is natural to want to destroy the evil. Hence, make war, not peace. There can, after all, be no compromise with evil.

On the other hand, Christians, believing that Muslims are misguided, simply want to try to convert them. But they do not realize that the Muslims do not simply see the Christians as being misguided but rather guided by evil (even though I doubt you will ever find a Muslim who will admit this). Compromise with evil is not possible. It must be destroyed. Please note that such a position is also taken by God in the Biblical Old Testament. It also is the position taken by Ayn Rand.

Whether or not Christianity is evil or Islam is evil cannot be judged completely objectively by both sides. Obviously, evil sees itself as good. Good sees itself as good. However, in truth, it does not matter which side is evil and which side is good except to determine which side will eventually triumph. The fact is that the two sides are mutually incapable of co-existing.

So yes, Islam may very well be a terrorist organization from the perspective of Christians. However, Christians must realize that radicalized Muslims views Christianity EXACTLY the same way.

Do you people not know that there is a difference between the "radical" Muslims and just plain old Muslims, I live on the same street of the only mosque in my town and I never get disturbed by their morning prayers. The word Islam is derived from the word peace in Arabic, they are a peaceful religion, it's that some are extremists and they are the only ones you hear about.
Christianity and Islam came from the same thing, they have the same stories practically, you know the one where god tells soemone to go sacrifice their only son, and at the last moment god said stop and got them to sacrifice a goat instead.
Anyway part the reason for Muslim terrorists is that we were so bad to them and somewhere somewhere there's a thing that says that Christians will never accept Islam, and your fitting perfectly into that stereotype. In the days of Muhammad (pbuh) the Christians came to challenge Islam, but they had no place to pray, so Muhammad (pbuh) said they could pray in their mosque, and so they did. A generic follower of Islam is not a terrorist, a mosque isn't a bomb factory. So ii hate to tell you guys, that the religion we were all brought up on, whether we are religious or not is probably the most arrogant of them all and has the least imagination. Oh and by the way I ACTUALLY felt physically sick whilst reading that article thing.
