In my years on Mother Earth and in all of my voting career, I have never faced such an election as this one coming 7 November 2006.
Every choice has been the toughest choice I have faced as a voter. I accept that it is profoundly moral to be fully involved politically as a citizen of America and a rational person. Yet, choices have been only from "very bad" to "worst."
I have welcomed every bit of input I could find to help clarify the murky mess. Until now, I had found nothing that was useful. Right, Left, Democrat, Republican, Conservative, Liberal--these mean nothing any more, except that all advocate the total opposite of reality, reason, rights and individualism, freedom and capitalism. In psychiatry, we referred to a situation as a "double bind." That meant that someone was compelled to do something that could not be done or should not be done.
That is how this election shapes up. I must choose, but how? Thankfully, some intellectual help arrived, and these are reprinted for the benefit of anyone who wants to be able to see through the thick muck of this election.
Reading these in order from parts I to III is best.
